Racking Installation

Safe, efficient installation is what makes a racking system work properly day to day. We install pallet racking and
warehouse storage systems with a tidy, structured approach — built around your layout, access needs, and the way your
operation actually runs.

What we deliver

  • Site survey & measurement to confirm space, floor condition and constraints
  • Practical layout support for aisle widths, access, picking and loading routes
  • Supply & installation of racking, shelving and associated components
  • Anchoring & stability using correct fixings and installation method
  • Load notices & bay labelling where required/available from system design
  • Handover with clear guidance on safe use and basic in-house checks
  • Alterations, repairs & reconfiguration as your stock profile changes
  • Ranger shuttle systems

Common installation types

New warehouse fit-out
Full install from empty space — designed around your pallet sizes, stock flow and equipment.

Expansion & re-layout
Add bays, change beam levels, or reconfigure to improve capacity and access.

Relocations & reinstalls
Strip-down and reinstall of existing racking, with checks and replacement parts as needed.

Protection & accessories
Upright protectors, end barriers, mesh decks, pallet supports, backstops and signage.

Systems we install

  • Selective pallet racking (APR) — versatile, easy access to every pallet
  • Longspan & shelving — ideal for cartons, bins, parts and picking areas
  • Cantilever racking — timber, steel, long loads and awkward product shapes
  • Narrow aisle / VNA layouts — where higher density storage is needed (site dependent)
  • Decking & accessories — mesh/chipboard decking, pallet supports, row spacers, labels
  • Warehouse protection — barriers, column guards, end-of-aisle protection

Our process

  1. Survey & requirements — We review the floor, space, stock types, weights, and handling equipment.
  2. Layout & proposal — A practical plan focused on safe access, flow and usable capacity.
  3. Install & handover — Efficient installation with tidy working practice and clear handover.
  4. Aftercare — Repairs, adjustments, reconfiguration and future expansion as needed.

Safety & compliance

Racking safety starts with correct installation and safe day-to-day use. We focus on stable, correctly fixed bays,
suitable protection, clear access routes and sensible loading practices. We can also advise on ongoing checks and
arrange formal inspections if required.

Tip: If you can share pallet sizes, load weights and truck type, we can help optimise beam levels and aisle widths.

Typical projects

  • New pallet racking installations for warehouses and distribution sites
  • Warehouse re-layouts to improve flow and increase capacity
  • Extensions and reconfiguration of existing racking
  • Relocations: strip-down, transport coordination and reinstalls
  • Protection upgrades: barriers, upright protection and safer aisle ends
